About Carolyn

Carolyn brings warmth and acceptance,  clarity of focus, the ability to ask incisive questions and depth of psychological awareness, to the coaching process.

She coaches executives and leaders across corporate, public and third sector organisations, and has specialised particularly in working with creative professionals in the fields of advertising, marketing and journalism.  Carolyn is an associate with Coaching for Leaders, and coaches pro-bono for the New Entrepreneur Foundation.  She also works with individuals using an approach called personal consultancy, within which coaching and counselling can be integrated to suit the needs of each person.

Carolyn is Chair-elect on the Executive of the Coaching Division of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is also a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and the Association for Integrative Coach Therapist Professionals (AICTP). She writes articles for coaching magazines and has guest authored a chapter in the book “Personal Consultancy” about using the approach with young people.

She combines highly developed listening and communication skills with specific supervision models to develop and increase the understanding confidence and ability of practitioners.

Carolyn is a Time to Think Facilitator, enabling organisations to ensure they get the best thinking of all their teams.  She designs and  delivers bespoke training courses,  to support and challenge professionals to develop their confidence and skills in meeting the needs of their clients. She has an excellent track record of developing and delivering training for national organisations.





Carolyn has an interest in Mindfulness, and collaborates with a Senior Yoga teacher to provide “Developing Space” workshops, a unique opportunity to benefit from both yoga and coaching.

Carolyn is based in London, where she lives with her partner and children and facilitates training and development throughout the UK.
